Community Focused: In January, I recorded and posted this video to help the community understand about property taxes and my experience protesting to help others protest their valuations.

THIS ISN'T JUST ABOUT ENGINEERING AND WATER OPERATIONS. IT'S ABOUT TRUE COMMUNITY AND BENEFITTING OUR RESIDENTS

    Key differentiators and initiatives

I want to plan and build more amenities in our neighborhood. I was able to connect the current MUD board with the right contacts at Hilcorp to start a discussion on utilizing some of the drill sites. I want to continue that momentum building out amenities for the neighborhood.

Continue driving costs to homeowners lower. The MUD has done a great job at pulling together the data and reasoning of why and how they can lower taxes and rates. I'm looking forward to lowering water bills for residents and maximizing the money we receive from THM.

Apartments at the Texas Heritage Marketplace is not ideal for our schools, traffic, or property values. As much as I can, I will voice support for smart and practical ways to work with this development.

Beautifying the retention ponds by replacing the garbage cans, adding more trash cans, finish the paved trails around the ponds, and adding more trees. A dog park would be amazing as my dog would love to run off-leash in a space larger than my back yard right here in the neighborhood.

I reviewed the new waste treatment bid packet drawings before they went to vendors. Keeping the project on track and within budget is very important to our community and the services we provide..

The most impactful construction within the MUD is Texas Heritage Marketplace. The MUD board partners are great but they would benefit by having someone more involved into how they are protecting and serving us as the client. Double checking such a large project for change orders that are warranted can save our community money and headaches.
